The Wahine Project has been working globally since 2010 becoming a leader in equity in access to ocean experiences. We work from an environmental justice approach that focuses on addressing barriers that prevent a diversity of humans from a relationship with the ocean and with one another. We have definitely learned from other organizations but we have also had to forge our own way in many aspects of our programming because there was no representation for the work we wanted to do so there was no playbook. If you are an interested entity that would like to consult with us on how our organization can serve as a template for yours we are happy to consult with you. Consultation with our Executive Director starts at an hourly rate of $75 per hour.
